Biography
Silvano Alves hails from Pilar do Sul, Brazil and is the first rider to win back-to-back PBR World Championships. At age 23, Silvano debuted on the PBR's Built Ford Tough Series. His career lit up the scoreboards and the history books when he became the first rider to capture three event wins in his Rookie Season. He finished the season by winning the 2010 PBR Rookie of the Year award.

Within eighteen months of riding with the PBR, Silvano had won $1.8 million dollars, a mark he achieved faster than any rider in PBR History. He followed that up with his World Championship wins in 2011 and 2012. The key to this amazing career has been consistency. He continues to be one of the most consistent riders on the tour and there is no doubt that he'll continue to make history with his accomplishments. Today, Silvano splits his time between his home in Brazil and his home in Decatur, Texas. He is a married father of two and he enjoys spending time with his family when he's not on the road.
